Bylaws of AUGSA
Athabasca University Graduate Students’ Association is governed by a number of documents; primary among them are the Bylaws of the Association. These bylaws govern the internal organization of AUGSA and elaborate on the roles of Executive and Council members.

The power to amend the bylaws rests with the AUGSA Council, and requires a 2/3 majority vote of the members in attendance at a meeting called for the purpose of considering a bylaw change.
AUGSA’s elections are governed by the Elections Policy and the Code of Conduct Policy. These documents govern AUGSA election procedures and ensure that elections are run openly and fairly.
