AUGSA Financial & Transparency Statements
In 2009, AUGSA began collecting fees from students for every graduate course at a rate of $15 per course. These fees form the basis of the AUGSA annual budget. Today, AUGSA charges $13 per credit. All fee changes are approved according to the processes outlined in the AUGSA Bylaws.
AUGSA’s budget is passed each year at our Annual General Meeting in January. Our financial records are audited by an accountant at the end of our fiscal year. For purchases outside of our approved budget, AUGSA ensures cheques are signed by two Executive members, our President and Vice President Operations and Finance.
